Mike Fabrizi has been with Southport since 1999, when he joined the firm as its first electrical engineer. Mike has grown a sizeable book of business over the years including clients from hospitality, commercial, municipal, healthcare, and industrial sectors. Recently in 2017, Mike assumed the role of President – providing leadership for business development, human resources, and administrative functions of the company, as well as engaging Southport in strategic partnerships to bolster the firm’s service offerings and geographic reach.

Mike specializes in engineering design of electrical distribution, controls, fire alarm, emergency/standby generation systems, co-generation, PV, UPS and data centers. Mike has extensive experience in electrical reliability designs and critical power distribution, power systems analysis, power quality studies and remediation.

Prior to Southport, Mike worked for consulting firms as well as electric utilities. His diverse background and experience enables Mike to provide strategic advisory and owner’s representation services to a wide range of Southport’s clients.

Mike is a registered professional engineer in nine states and maintains membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and NFPA.
